Centre for Education Development Action and Research (CEDAR) CEDAR was established in 1994. In the first 20 years we largely worked for the abolition of child labour in Viruthunagar, Thoothukudi and Thirunelveli districts of Tamilnadu. We reached out to 144 child labour prone villages. We now work for children and youth coming from the most marginalized and excluded communities in Tamilnadu. We help them to realize their ‘creative potentials’ and ‘agency.’
